NANA’s House

Suffolk County

NANA’s House is an acronym for “Never Alone, Never Afraid.” NANA's House is a homeless shelter for families with children, men, women and people with disabilities.

NANA’s House is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1999 by family members.  That year, the agency began delivering meals to families and individuals who were affected by Cancer or AIDS and were unable to access conventional food pantries. Soon after we realized the need for temporary housing.

Our mission is to aggressively advocate and provide a full range of appropriate services for homeless families and dependents.  NANA’s House provides temporary housing, intensive services, and education, as well as ongoing case management and social work.
